The Quiet Zone is a trial to provide a quiet area for study, work, or relaxation at Preston Library.

The Quiet Zone is a trial to provide a quiet area for study, work or relaxation at Preston Library.
Between the hours of 1 and 3pm, Monday to Friday, the seating area at the back of Preston Library will be a designated Quiet Zone. The trial will run from Monday 7 August.
During this time, the area is available for quiet use only. This means no phone or video calls, group conversation or other noisy activities.
Our libraries aren't silent spaces and conversation is welcome! We ask that during the Quiet Zone trial you chat elsewhere in the library, or in the designated are outside the Quiet Zone times.
