The Australian Services Union (ASU) has notified Darebin City Council that they plan to take strike action on Wednesday 17 June. Library opening hours will be affected, and all programs and events scheduled for Wednesday have been cancelled. We are sorry for any inconvenience and will keep you informed as much as possible.

1pm – Spring Working Bee at the Northcote Library Food Garden
What to bring:
• Comfortable clothes you don’t mind getting a little dirty
• Sun protection and a water bottle
• Gardening gloves if you have them.The Food Garden will provide tools, guidance and good company.
2pm –Learn more and celebrate at Northcote Library
Meet the Food Garden team, learn about the Garden’s history and how to become more involved. Then celebrate with fellow gardeners and enjoy light refreshments.
