1pm – Spring Working Bee
Help prepare the Northcote Library Food Garden for spring.
What to bring:
- Comfortable clothes you don’t mind getting a little dirty
- Sun protection and a water bottle
- Gardening gloves, if you have them
The Food Garden will provide tools, guidance and good company.
2pm – Learn More and Celebrate the Food Garden
Meet the Food Garden team, learn about the Garden’s history and find out how to become more involved. Then celebrate with fellow gardeners and enjoy light refreshments, free face painting with Fairy Lulu and live music from Elvira e Filippo who will perform traditional and modern Italian folk music and other favourites
Whether you’re a long-time volunteer, would like to become one or are simply curious about gardening, everyone is welcome.
Northcote Library Food Garden is a communal growing space open to all community members. Gardening, music, food and fun—what more could you want on a Sunday afternoon?
