Things to do in the library

Browse and borrow

If you prefer to be in and out of the library quickly, reserve your items in advance and we’ll let you know when they are ready for you to borrow.

Collect your reservations

You can collect your own reservations at all library branches. Ask a friendly staff member if you’d like help finding or borrowing your reservation.

Relax, work, study and use wifi

  • Newspapers are available at all libraries.
  • There are different areas, seating and tables at all libraries where you can relax, work and study.
  • Hand sanitiser and alcohol wipes for desks are available.
  • Wireless internet access and printing are available to library members.
  • Library wifi can be accessed inside and outside our libraries.

Use a library computer

  • Desktop computers are available for up to 75 minutes a day.
  • Accessibility computers are available for up to two hours a day.
  • Laptops are available for up to three hours per day (in the library only).
  • You can book a desktop computer before you visit the library. Call 1300 655 355 or send us a message.

Use an express computer

  • You can use an express computer for up to 30 minutes.
  • Bookings are not required, although you may need to wait for a computer to become free..

Print, scan, and copy

  • You can print, scan and copy for a small charge.
  • You can print from a library computer, from your USB at the printer or wirelessly from your own device.
