The Australian Services Union has notified Darebin City Council and the other 7 councils joined in multi-employer bargaining that they plan to take strike action on Tuesday 5 May. Due to this strike action some of our Library services may be impacted. It’s regrettable the Australian Services Union’s industrial action is affecting our customers. We will keep you informed as much as possible.

All four of our libraries are wheelchair accessible. While some of our libraries are spread out across multiple levels, we have ramps or lifts available to facilitate easy access for all patrons.
All our library branches have accessible toilet facilities to accommodate wheelchair access.
Changing places facilities are available at 18 Kelvin Grove, Preston, opposite Preston library.
There is also a Changing places facility at Edwardes Lake Park Reservoir.
