Find out how you can book one of our meeting rooms at Northcote or Preston Library.

You can enquire about the availability of the Preston and Northcote Library meeting rooms or make a booking request by completing the meeting room enquiry & booking form.

Or you can call us on 1300 655 355 Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm.

Meeting room facilities

Each of our meeting rooms have the following facilities:

  • Seating
  • Kitchenette – with small fridge and zip tap with boiling water. Please bring your own supplies.
  • Lectern
  • Public toilets
  • After-hours access
  • Wheelchair access.

Booking Fees

Organisation Price (GST inclusive)
Not-for-profits* and Darebin Council business units $19.50 per hour
Commercial organisations $35 per hour

*An organisation is a not-for-profit organisation if it is not operating for the profit or gain of its individual members. All other organisations are considered commercial organisations.

Audio Visual Set-Up

Rooms include a 240 cm data projector that can be connected to a laptop and features full sound.

Laptops and any other audio-visual equipment must be supplied by the party booking the meeting room.

Cable Supplies available on request:

  • VGA cable (connecting PC)
  • audio Cable (connecting PC audio)
  • HDMI cable (connecting PC or DVD).

If you have an Apple computer you will need to supply your own adapter.
