To celebrate International Day of Older Persons, come along to Tai Chi at the library.

Tai Chi (Taijiquan in Chinese) is a Chinese martial art that has been practiced in China since the 16th Century. It’s a tranquil and graceful way of keeping fit, improving your health, and helping to prevent the stresses and strains of modern living.

The class includes Qigong breathing and meditation techniques; strength, flexibility, balance and coordination exercises; and an introduction to Tai Chi.

The class is suitable for seniors of all capacities and fitness levels. Bring a water bottle and wear loose, comfortable clothing with flat shoes.
