Join non‑binary author Quinton Li for a conversation on the importance of representation and how stories can expand our world view.

Drawing on lived experience, Quinton shares reflections on resilience, pride, and navigating life as a queer, non‑binary, Timorese Australian, inviting us to consider how race, gender, culture, and identity intersect to shape our journeys.

Quinton Li (they/them) is a Timorese-Australian, queer, non-binary, and neurodivergent author of fantastical, queer, and evocative narratives that represent underrepresented identities. Quinton’s writing, poetry, public speaking, and anthologies engage in own voices and lived experienced storytelling, typically centring queer, trans, and neurodivergent voices.

Celebrating Trans Awareness Week, this event offers space to listen, learn, and reflect on the experiences of transgender, gender diverse, and non-binary communities, and how we can contribute to a more inclusive and equitable future.
