Loving Fairfield

Loving Fairfield, by local writer and collage artist Joe Pascoe, is the featured exhibition in the Fairfield Gallery Walk in December 2024.

Loving Fairfield comprises 22 original collages and seven poems, and the artist's book of the same name. The exhibition reflects Joe's love of his neighbourhood, of Station Street, and the people who give it life.

Joe has published several books of poetry though independent publisher Reading Sideways press. His writing is inspired by the things he sees and hears around him out in the world. Joe describes his poems as 'snippets of intriguing reality', while his collages represent 'an individual idea of Fairfield, as if Piet Mondrian had visited'.
