R. E. Inman

Northcote Mayor (1953 - 1954)

R. E. Inman was Mayor of Northcote in 1953/4. This was during a time when new factories and businesses were starting up. The Ensign Dry Cleaner's factory, providing 125 jobs, was opened by Cr. Inman in 1953. He was also mayor at the time of the Queen's visit in 1954.
