Raymond Basil Bramham

(1928 - 1984)

Ray Bramham was the City Engineer for Preston, having previously worked for the Shire of Violet Town and Violet Town Water Works Trust. Council works organised by Bramham included the building of two large swimming pools, repairing parks and gardens, and numerous road construction projects. The Ray Bramham Gardens in St. Georges Road, Preston are named after him.
