Create your own paper diyas or marigold garland while exploring the traditions, symbolism, and cultural significance that make Diwali such a meaningful celebration.
Diwali’s origins are from South Asia. Also known as Deepavali, Bandi Chhor Diwas and Tihar, it is a “festival of lights” celebrated by millions of people and families around the world. The festival symbolises the victory of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, and good over evil.
This event is presented with Taste of India.
Taste of India has served as a not for profit organisation, bringing together our immigrant population through arts, music and dance.
