Plastic Free July - Fairfield Primary School

Photo of a glass cabinet with a series of sea creatures made from plastic waste on display.

The Eco Club students at Fairfield Primary School are working hard to reduce single use plastic in the school by promoting and encouraging wrapper free lunches. To recognise Plastic Free July in 2024, the Eco Club has organised for each class at Fairfield PS to create a sea creature from plastic waste and they have written messages about plastic pollution as well as the solutions. Their hope is that this exhibition will start a conversation in the wider community about the problems associated with plastic and the health of our planet.
