Mr. Turner - Chemist
328 High Street, Northcote
The first chemist in Northcote was established on the corner of High Street and Separation Street Northcote in the early 1850s. The business was run by a Mr. Turner - unfortunately there is very little else known about him - in a weatherboard building, adjoining the ironmongery run by Edmund Shade. The business was taken over by Samuel Angior who later relocated the business to 215 High Street.
