Preston Cricket Club
The Preston Cricket Club can trace its history directly to a 1901 meeting at the Preston Shire Hall. At that meeting it was resolved once and for all to form a cricket club to represent the district. Prior to this decision several incarnations of clubs had come and gone, dating back to 1860. Since 1876 the home of cricket in Preston has been Preston City Oval in Cramer St.
