This book club explores how to be an empathetic and constructive ally by collectively reading and reflecting upon Decolonizing Solidarity: Dilemmas and Direction for Supporters of Indigenous Struggles by Clare Land.

Reading two chapters a month, the group will follow the accompanying book club outline, resources and questions.


The book club will meet monthly for 6 months on the dates below. Newcomers welcome.


  • 25 June (changed date) - Foreword and Introduction
  • 16 July – Chapters 1 and 2
  • 20 August - Chapters 3 and 5
  • 17 September - Chapters 4 and 5
  • 15 October - Chapters 6 and 7
  • 12 November - Next steps
