Lilleville Private Hospital

The ‘Lillieville’ Private Hospital was operated by Nurse M. Hooper from 73 and later 105 Darebin Road, Thorbury. She started around 1915 and was there until the 1930s. From the early 1920s she also had a second premises, also called ‘Lillieville’ at 418 Murray Road, Preston. The two ‘Lillieville’ Private Hospitals advertised as offering medical, surgical and midwifery services.
