Community art spaces

We are proud to offer community art spaces at Northcote and Fairfield Libraries. Find out how you can display your artwork at either Northcote or Fairfield Libraries, and browse our current and past exhibits below.

Would you like to see your work displayed in our libraries?

We offer community art spaces at Northcote and Fairfield Libraries to local artists, community groups, and schools. These accessible art spaces suit works of a variety of different mediums. Spaces are available to artists for periods of up to four weeks, in line with the calendar month.

Available Art Spaces
  • LibArt Gallery at Northcote Library
The LibArt Gallery is just a short walk from High St Northcote. It is available to exhibit hanging artworks and features an additional glass display case for small works.
  • Fairfield Gallery Walk at Fairfield Library
As Fairfield Library is located within Fairfield Community Centre, the Fairfield Gallery walk overlooks the thoroughfare and consists of four glass display cases built into the wall of the library.
