Thomas Stokes

Mr Stokes was a die sinker and electroplater whose firm was Stokes and Martin in Collins Street Melbourne. This was later to become Stokes and Sons in Collingwood. His residence at 1 Tower Avenue, Alphington, built in 1883-86, was known as 'Edgebaston'. Photograph of Thomas Stokes and his wife, taken c1880s.
