Jean Roberts

(1943 - )

Between 1962 and 1970 Jean Roberts dominated women’s shot put in Australia, winning the national title eight consecutive times after being second in 1961.  She won silver medals at the Commonwealth Games in 1962 and 1966 and competed in the 1968 Olympic Games as well as the 1970 and 1974 Commonwealth Games.
