Walter Lee

(1889-1968)

Walter Lee was one of the great early footballers in Melbourne. Walter played 17 consecutive years of VFL football between 1906 and 1922. During that time he was lead goal kicker for the league on eight occasions and equal first in two other years. Although Lee played all his games for Collingwood he lived and worked in Northcote as a carrier.
