Alfred Bean

(1899-1976)

Alfred Bean was a prominent local citizen in Preston, whose activities included:

· Honorary Secretary, House Committee of Wardrop House (Northcote),
· Foundation President of the Rotary movement in Northcote and Preston,
· Area Warden in the A.R.P
· Director of the Preston Co-operative Housing Society,
· Member of the Board of Management for PANCH, including serving as President in 1960-61.
