Socrates Papadopolous

Northcote Mayor (1982-83)

Socrates Papadopoulos was elected Mayor of Northcote in 1982/83. He proposed that Batman Park should be renamed Wurundjeri Park to honour the Aborigines driven from the district 120 years previously.
