George H. Parsons

George H. Parsons served back to back terms as Mayor of Northcote in 1897-8 and 1898-99. While a councillor in 1900, he suggested that, as other areas were launching Rifle Clubs, he couldn't see why Northcote shouldn't. This was at the time of the Boer War.
