Thomas William Blake

 Councillor (1938-1950) and Mayor of Preston, 1945/1946.

Tom Blake was Initially represented labour in council then changed to conservative. He was Justice of the Peace and lay preacher. He lived in Wood St and was married to Marjorie Doorgen Rowe. They had three children, two girls and one boy. He was a member of the Congregationalist Church and a Freemason. He was connected to the Blake Bros. Stonemasons on Plenty Rd.
