Frederick Walker
(c.1820-1896)
In 1870 Frederick Walker established the Preston Glue and Oil Manufacturing Works. Starting with three employees, Walker soon expanded the company to be one of the largest glue factories in Victoria. Walker won Australia wide renown for the quality of his glue, frequently winning prizes and honourable mentions at international and interstate glue conventions.
